2010

This year I have been attempting to take a picture of my child (soon to be children) every day. Some days, I forget; other days, we're just too busy. I recently decided that a seperate blog would be a good place to keep track of these pictures.

April 18-24

April 18

The boys both fell asleep on Nana. Again, I don't know how I would have survived without her during this bout with mastitis!

April 19:

(Picture 1):Stopped by Nana's office on our way out of town and she introduced us to a new toy.

(Picture 2): It's blurry, but it's funny because my mom is actually bouncing down the hall at her work!

April 23:

Hanging out at our store in the moby.

April 24:

Playing dolls with the cousins.

April 11-17

April 11

(Picture 1):Time to try for that weekly picture of the boys again.

(Picture 2): How young is too young to mow the yard? J/K

April 12:

Saying good-bye to the last of our 0-3 month clothes today...

April 13:

I love Bluebonnets. We take pictures in them every spring. This little patch is within walking distance of my house.

April 14

Another HORRIBLE cell phone picture. But, it was our first trip to the mall without Daddy's help, and I thought it was sweet that Alex held AJ's bottle for him.

April 17:

(Picture 1):AJ took his first trip to Oklahoma this week. Here he is meeting his Great-aunt Debbie for the first time. It was all I could do to pick up a camera today. I had the WORST case of mastitis and thought I was going to die. Thank goodness we made it to Oklahoma before I got sick. I was SO thankful to have my parents' help this week.

(Picture 2): Alex crashed on Nana's bed after a fun-filled day.

April 4-10

April 4

(Picture 1):Happy Easter from the Easter Bunny!

(Picture 2): And Happy Easter from Alex and his cousins!

April 5

Pretending to be a robot while wearing his Easter basket. (That is what you do with Easter baskets, isn't it?)

(Picture 2): Look who's finally really smiling?!

April 6:

This may be one of my favorite pictures of the boys together. It actually looks like they're talking.

April 7:

It's getting harder for Alex to hold AJ.

April 9:

(Picture 1):It's a horrible cell phone picture, but it was all I had to document AJ's first trip to the park. He hung out in the moby the whole time.

(Picture 2): Another wonderful cell phone picture, I know. But Alex had so much fun pretending to cut the flowers with his awesome new chainsaw that Cody and Rene gave him for his birthday. (It even makes noise like the real thing and everything!)

April 10

(Picture 1):My poor boy stepped in an ant bed while playing in the backyard today. Ouch!!!

(Pictures 2&3): AJ is 6 weeks old, so I decided to take a picture of him on the very special blanket that Nana crocheted for him.

Mar 28-Apr 3

March 29:

AJ has been needing to be held all.the.time lately. We think something in my diet has been upsetting his little tummy.

March 30:

(Picture 1:) Today was Alex's actual birthday, so we took the birthday boy to the Botanical Gardens to try and get some good pictures of our newly turned 3 year old.

(Picture 2): All of my boys together

(Picture 3): Momma with her boys

March 31:

(Picture 1): This is what AJ does during tummy time these days.

(Picture 2) My sweet little 3 year old

April 1: I wish there was audio to go with this picture so you could hear the sweet little voice that Alex uses when he talks to AJ.

April 2:

I've been trying to take a picture of the Alex holding AJ every Friday. Can't you see how happy this makes them?

Mar. 21-27

March 21:

Alex has wanted very little to do with me this week, so that is why my pictures of him are sporadic. Rather than risk a melt down if I pointed a camera at him, I just let him do his thing.

And AJ, well... he sleeps a lot.

March 22:
(Picture 1): Today I turned 29.

(Picture 2): And AJ humored me on my birthday by wearing bunny ears while we shopped at Target.

March 23:
(Picture 1): AJ is almost one month old! I cannot believe how much he has changed already.

(Picture 2): Alex used to look so small until AJ was born. Now he seems HUGE!

March 24: Today's pictures were a surprise to me. Alex took my cell phone out of the diaper bag while I was driving and took pictures of himself.

March 25: Alex's hat cracks me up.

March 26: Just chillin' while mom makes breakfast.

March 27: Today was all about Alex. He celebrated his 3rd birthday with a bunch of kids from our playgroup by going to a local bounce house. He LOVED being the center of attention, and it was just what he needed to pull him out of this "funk" that the new baby has put him in lately. He WANTED to play with me today- for the first time since AJ was born. And I loved every minute of it!

(Picture 2)AJ got to hang out with Mimi during the party.

Mar. 14-20

March 15: Alex discovered that he can see the kids next door through the hole in the fence. He spent several minutes just watching the other boys play.

March 16: AJ took a nap in his swing while momma cleaned.

March 17: St. Patty's Day:

(Picture 1): Today we went to Chuck E Cheese's in honor of Jesse's birthday.

Picture 2: This was AJ's first time in the moby wrap. He loved it, and so did Momma.
Picture 3: At the end of a long day, Blake and AJ got in some cuddle time.

March 18: The theme of today's pictures? Nap Time.

(Picture 1): I love how Alex fell asleep with all of his "reading material" still in the bed.

March 19: AJ had a rough day, so he hung out in my wrap for a majority of the day.

March 20: The moby wrap has become AJ's favorite place to hang out. I love that I can snuggle with him, while still being able to do much of what I need to accomplish.
